(mum: Sunshade doesn't play much anymore unless its with an un-neutered male, so I usually don't bring her to Jaffa's playdates. She wanted to tag along today tho!)

We met another big big boy just like Jaffaman there, peeple called him "Taj". That's Jaffaman's sister Stellie too!


Taj no no run around like me me & Stellie and Lola, so my Sunshade said HI HI to Taj! He's 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 years old,


(Sunshade: yes, I have been so deprived of the CALLLLLLLM-NESS that I so desire (over the last THREEEE years) that I must seize every opportunity to absorb the calm energy.)

Remember wittle Lola? She's no wittle anymore. She's Jaffaman's gurrrrlfriend. Me love love Lola! She can bite bite Jaffaman here and there and everywhere and me no no care!! (Sunshade: that's because YOU do that to everybody/doggie else!!)

One peeple said said to all our mummies, we all look like GOAT GOATS!! His dog looked like this,


(mum: This guy with a Chinese Sharpei kept asking us on many different occasions what breed they were, and we kept repeating "They're Airedales", "yes, all of them are Airedales", "yes, this one too is an Airedale Terrier". Then after staring at them for the longest time, he said they looked like "goats" LOL! I found it amusing that the guy with the CHINESE SHARPEI was telling us our Airedales look like goats!)

My Sunshade got hot hot, cause she eat eat a lot, and got a lot a lot of hair! HEHEHE...

Mummy said said maybe Taj and Faye are brother and sister like me me and Stellie!!

(mum: Taj was the spitting image of Faye (more than just the ears!) except he was a little bit bigger. Faye was a rescue that my friends adopted. We knew the approximate area that she came from, her approximate age and that was about it. Taj's owner mentioned that he was from a breeder in the area that we were told Faye was from. His breeder also only had a pair of Airedales that he was breeding, and all the pups got tattooed in the thighs before they went to their homes. I asked my friends to check Faye for tattoo around the thigh area, and sure enough, it was there! Taj is 8, Faye is 6, so they could be brother and sister from a different litter!)

Mummy said look look for my cute cute sister Stellie and the KOOKIE lady (mum: KOOKIE lady is Stella's mom). Jaffaman said said ok ok, I looooook!


Then me see see Stellie-tellie!!!! See see, she's happy happy to see Jaffaman and mummy, she made big big circles with her tail!

Mummy said said me me and Stellie pose ok ok? We said said ok ok!


Jaffaman look a lot a lot big big than Stellie, see see,


(mum: Stella is a petite girl weighing at just over 40 lbs, and she was just stripped so her hair is still quite short. Jaffa is about 62 lbs and in need to be stripped so there's quite a bit of a size difference between the two.)

Then no no more pictures. Jaffaman see see one friend far far away, so me go go see. Then another friend friend, then another friend friend, and then no no mummy.....!! Stellie stay stayed with mummy and KOOKIE lady, she no no follow Jaffaman....

(Sunshade: OMG you always "forget" about mum when you see or "thinks" you see other dogs, and you just run to meet them doesn't matter how faaaaaaaaaaar away they are! Then mum has to run allllllll the way over jumping/waving/yelling your name (basically looking like an idiot) to get your attention.... This is why mum doesn't walk us together!!!)

(mum: Jaffa is a socialite, he absolutely LOVES other dogs. Whenever he sees a dog, be it a couple feet away or just a silhouette, he has to go greet them. Sometimes, that could mean the distance of an entire football field. I would then need to somehow get close enough to get his attention, then he comes readily back. He doesn't purposely run away from me as he'd always come back once he sort of "remembers" me LOL. He also gets bored of the dogs very fast, so he's always on the look out for "new" dogs. That sometimes means he will go from one dog to another to another, further and further away from me. Because of this, I don't really walk Sunshade and Jaffa together unless its a place that I know dogs don't frequent. Sunshade will always follow me, and if I need to chase after Jaffa, that means she comes chasing after me. Unfortunately, her bad leg would always suffer after she finally catches up to us.

This is something that is still a work in progress with Jaffa (and I'm not doing a very good job...sigh..). Without dogs, his "come" recall is EXCELLENT (actually more prompt than Sunshade), and he follows me everywhere beautifully. Sunshade on the other hand will sniff dogs if she comes across them, but never goes out of her way to see them. She LOVES and THRIVES on her one on one interaction with me. So for now, to keep both of them happy, I try to take Sunshade for our quiet beach/trail strolls, and Jaffa to dog parks or play dates.)

Hi everyone, its me Stella, short for Princess Stella in case you have forgotten!


Aunty Elaine asked my KOOKIE mummy aka CHEEEEEESIE mummy (I'm a cheese loving Princess so she always has cheese in her pocket for her little princess you know what I mean?) Anyways, Aunty Elaine asked my CHEESIE mummy to bring me over because my beautiful long silky Princess quality hair was getting a little too long. Let me show you my long silky hair.


Obviously, I'm the Princess on the left. I'm sure nobody can mistaken Princess Stella! That's my brother Jaffa on the right, he's got boy-ish hair, and he still talks kinda funny, but I still love him lots you know what I'm saying?

Where was I???

Oh right, my hair. You see, I was attracting too much attention due to my long beautiful hair. Since I'm a proper Princess, too much un-wanted attention is not appreciated you know what I mean? So here I am going through phase 1 of my Princess make over! According to Aunty Elaine, there will be 4 phases.

(Sunshade: MUM!! We NEEEEED to have a TAAAAAAAALK ASAP!)

Before Aunty Elaine started on my make over, I was like, could I pleeeeeeeeese play with Jaffa first?? My wish was granted, but then again, who wouldn't grant a Princess her wish you know what I mean?

(Sunshade: STINKY brings garbage home all the time from his walks. He especially likes plastic bottles. If you let him off-leash, he will go steal bottles out of homeless people's bugies and run away with them yelling after him!!! Who steals from a homeless person??? So embarrassing!)

(mum: Stella came for Stage 1 of her grooming. I haven't been able to strip her, so she has been clipped for the past year or so. Her coat has lost some colour and is quite soft, so I have decided to do a complete reset of her coat. That means........


I have never stripped her or Jaffa bald before, but because I want to get rid of the clipped coat completely, I have decided to strip her down. She was very good as usual, fell asleep on the grooming table!

Once I finish the 4 Stages of hand stripping, Stella's coat will come in with the rich black and tan colouring. There are pictures of Stella from back when she was stripped.)
