(mum: I was trying to teach Jaffa to use the Treat Machine Sunshade got on her birthday 2 days ago. Unfortunately, even when he would get the lever and treats came out, he didn't seem too excited about it. It's probably because the kibbles used were ones that he got as regular food on days he's picky about his raw food. I guess no incentive, no motivation. (Sunshade: or maybe just ....*ahem* not as smart?) He quickly lost focus, and started lying down on his side everytime I said "paw" to try to get him to use the machine. Maybe that was his way of showing his frustration, or maybe he was showing me that he was still doing "something" LOL. So I thought no treat machine, that's ok, we can work on BANG since he was already offering me the final position of the BANG trick.
Jaffa worked for half an hour straight from not knowing anything to performing the trick from any position (lying down, sitting, standing) with a BANG command + hand signal. I didn't expect him to be able to keep his focus for this long, but he did! When I tried to stop to give him a break, he would stare at me like "come on, I'm ready for more" (Sunshade: more like "me me is ready ready for more more ok ok?") Needless to say, I am so proud of my Jaffaman!)

Jaffa! I thought you were pretty convincing until I saw Miss Sunshade's video! That was amazing. Like she totally even had some writhing about before she dropped dead.
